Milton Keynes has one of the largest collections of publicly-sited art works in the country. In the development of the new city careful attention was given to the siting and commissioning of new artworks as a means of creating a sense of place and community, and the commissioning of new work has continued in recent years. There are now over 200 public works in the city.

A stunning piece of artwork sitting beside Furzton Lake. Triple Starhead 1987-93 was displayed at Goodwood from 1994 to 1998, and then exhibited outside the British High Commission in Ottawa, Canada, before being returned to Milton Keynes. 
Following three years of successful exhibitions in Woburn Sands Purple Poppy have now opened a permanent Gallery in Woburn Street Ampthill, Beds. A friendly welcome awaits you with a wide range of affordable quality work from carefully chosen British Artists and Makers - many local - on show against a charming backdrop... 
Opened in September 2008 in the centre of Woburn, the Gallery shows contemporary art in all media, with drawings, photography, studio glass, ceramics and sculpture. Many of our artists are drawn from the 3 counties of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, all selected to represent the best in their chosen field. The Gallery has a varied and lively programme of exhibitions throughout the year. 
THE SPACE…is in the heart of Olney. The gallery is minimalist, functional, but welcoming. Artists come from as far away as New Mexico and Argentina, but also from London, Amsterdam and Lisbon, and closer to home, from Olney, Weston Underwood, Lavendon and Northampton.
Showcasing the best of British Art and Craft, The House Gallery in Olney, Buckinghamshire exhibits a wide variety of jewellery, fine art, ceramics and more. The House Gallery is open 7 days a week and will also be holding a number of special preview nights throughout the year.
The Atrium Gallery is an established exhibition facility on the ground floor of the Bletchley campus, showing the work of former and current students, staff and invited artists from the region. There is almost 100 running feet of space for two-dimensional work, plus secure, glazed display cabinets for some small three-dimensional pieces.
