Make a Difference

Voluntary sector support - MaDMaD - Make a Difference has 2 fresh recruits raring to go! Stuart White, vinvolved Project Officer, and Natasha Davidson, Youth Volunteering Development Advisor are now in post.

Stuart will be delivering the vinvolved project, funded for the next 3 years. The vinvolved projects aim to provide 550 volunteer opportunities over the 3 years in a range of short, medium and long term opportunities.

All group coaching sessions are lead by a qualified MK Dons Education and Sports Trust coach who is CRB cleared.

Bucks Youth Games 2008

Voluntary sector support - Bucks Youth GamesSaturday 7th June sees Milton Keynes hosting the third annual Bucks Youth Games; the largest multi-sport event for young people in Buckinghamshire and will attract up to 2000 participants, competing from the five local authorities within the county.

Mobile Unit for Hire!

The Youth Service have purchased a mobile unit for use by registered youth groups. There is an administration charge of £15 to register to use the vehicle and trailer and the charge is then £1 per mile.

What is Passport to Leisure?

Voluntary sector support - Passport to LeisureThe Passport to Leisure Scheme provides residents of Milton Keynes with discounted to a variety of leisure facilities in the Milton Keynes area. The scheme is aimed at anyone who is registered with the employment service, youth adult training scheme, students, over 60's, or people in receipt of working tax credit and other benefits.

Application forms are available from all participating facilities, council offices, libraries and housing offices.
