Young people in MK are being invited to a day of fun, learning and international action with Make a Difference (MaD) and UNICEF on 30th November at Stadium:MK."

MaD, a Community Interest Company, who works with volunteers aged 13-25 have been successful in bringing the national UNICEF roadshow to MK!

You Know You (Funding)

The Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) has launched the third round of its Young Leaders project. The project was established in 2007 and aims to encourage young people to take a lead and teach their peers about sex and relationships. The trust is offering grants funded by the Big Lottery Fund of up to £1000 to groups of young people who submit creative and innovative ideas for Sex and Relationship Education (SRE) for their peers. Projects can cover a variety of topics including;

Barnardos MK Children & Young People's Rights Service is pleased to announce it's third annual 'Stars for the Night Ball'. A musical evening of celebration of the successes and achievements of young disabled people from MK, will be held on 17th November, from 7.00pm - 10.00pm, at Buddha Blue.

16 young volunteers gave the Friday of their half term to provide a Street Football tournament at Tattenhoe Pavilion for over 200 young people in Milton Keynes. The event provided a day of positive activity for 8 to 19 year olds including a football tournament, beat the keeper competition and pumpkin carving. Teams entered from across Milton Keynes and created a friendly but competitive day.
